الرئيس أمام قمة بريكس بروسيا : المنظومة الدولية عجزت عن وقف الكارثة الإنسانية بغزة والعدوان الإسرائيلى على لبنان
شارك الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي في أعمال الجلسة العامة الأولى لقمة تجمع البريكس، المنعقدة تحت عنوان “تعزيز النظام المتعدد من أجل التنمية والأمن العالميين العادلين”، حيث ألقى كلمة مصر التي تضمنت تأكيد اعتزاز مصر بمشاركتها الأولى كعضو في تجمع البريكس منذ انضمامها له مطلع العام الجاري، والحرص الذي توليه لتعزيز انخراطها بشكل فاعل فى جميع آليات عمل التجمع، في إطار تطوير العلاقات الاستراتيجية التى تربط مصر بأعضاء البريكس.
كما ثمن الرئيس الجهود التي بذلتها الرئاسة الروسية لتجمع البريكس، خلال العام الجاري، في مختلف المجالات والموضوعات، فضلاً عن جهود روسيا في إدارة المناقشات الخاصة بتوسيع الشراكة مع الدول الصديقة والمؤثرة، بما يعكس الرغبة المشتركة فى تطوير منظومة العمل الجماعي، وإعلاء صوت الدول النامية فى مختلف المحافل الدولية والإقليمية.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية بأن السيد الرئيس سلط الضوء خلال كلمته على الأزمات والصراعات الإقليمية والدولية المتصاعدة، والتي تدفع إلى العمل بقوة نحو ضمان فاعلية المنظومة الدولية، التى أظهرت بوضوح عجزها عن التفاعل مع الكارثة الإنسانية التى يشهدها قطاع غزة، والعدوان الإسرائيلي على لبنان، على الرغم من التحذيرات المستمرة من العواقب الوخيمة لهذا الصراع وتوسعه، مشدداً على الأهمية الكبيرة لتجمع البريكس، والدور الحيوي الذى يمكنه القيام به لتطوير المنظومة الدولية، مستعرضاً أولويات مصر في هذا الإطار، والمتمثلة في أهمية تعزيز التعاون المشترك لاستحداث آليات مبتكرة وفعالة لتمويل التنمية، على غرار مبادلة الديون من أجل المناخ، مع تعظيم الاستفادة من الآليات التمويلية القائمة، في ظل ارتفاع فجوة تمويل التنمية إلى حوالى “4” تريليونات دولار فى الدول النامية.
وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن الرئيس أكد كذلك ضرورة اتخاذ خطوات حقيقية وفاعلة، لإصلاح الهيكل المالي العالمي، بما فى ذلك مؤسسات التمويل الدولية، وبنوك التنمية متعددة الأطراف، لتعزيز استجابتها للاحتياجات الفعلية للدول النامية، وأهمية تعزيز التعاون بين دول تجمع البريكس، فى مواجهة التداعيات السلبية لتغير المناخ، فضلاً عن وجوب استثمار المميزات النسبية التى تتمتع بها دول التجمع لتنفيذ مشروعات مشتركة فى قطاعات الاقتصاد الرئيسية، خاصة قطاعات الطاقة والبنية التحتية، والصناعات التحويلية، والعلوم والتكنولوجيا والابتكار، ودفع أطر التعاون المشترك فيما يتعلق بالتسوية المالية بالعملات المحلية، إضافة إلى دعوته لتكثيف وتعميق التواصل والتعاون الثقافي بين شعوب دول التجمع.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi participated in the first plenary session of the BRICS Summit, held under the title “Strengthening Multilateralism for Just Global Development and Security”.
The President delivered Egypt’s speech, during which he affirmed that Egypt valued its first participation as a member of the BRICS since joining it at the beginning of the year, and the keenness it attached to enhancing its active engagement in all the bloc’s work mechanisms, within the framework of developing the strategic relations linking Egypt with the BRICS members.
The President valued the efforts made by the Russian presidency of the BRICS this year across various fields and topics. This is in addition to Russia’s efforts in managing discussions pertinent to expanding the partnership with friendly and influential countries, in a way that reflects the common interest to develop the system of collective action and uphold the voice of developing countries in various international and regional forums.
In his speech, President El-Sisi focused on the escalating regional and international crises and conflicts, highlighting the urgent need for decisive action to ensure the effectiveness of the international system, which has demonstrably exposed its incapacity to address the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip and the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, despite persistent warnings against the grave consequences of this conflict and its expansion.
President El-Sisi underscored the utmost importance of the BRICS grouping and the vital role it could assume to advance the international system. The President outlined Egypt’s priorities in this regard, which focus on the importance of fostering closer joint cooperation to develop innovative and effective mechanisms for development financing, such as debt-for-climate swaps. This is in addition to levering the existing financing mechanisms, in light of the growing development financing gap of approximately $4 trillion in developing countries.
President El-Sisi called for concrete and effective actions to reform the global financial structure, including international financial institutions and multilateral development banks, to boost their responsiveness to the actual needs of developing countries. The President also stressed the need to cultivate closer cooperation among BRICS member state to address the negative repercussions of climate change. He underlined the need to capitalize on the comparative advantages of the bloc’s member states to implement joint projects in key economic sectors, primarily energy, infrastructure, transformative industries, sciences, technology and innovation. This is in addition to advancing frameworks for collaboration in local currency settlements. President El-Sisi also called for strengthening and expanding cultural engagement and cooperation among the peoples of BRICS member states.
